Supporter Ticket

One ticket – unlimited travel around E101 route


The local transport companies have combined to offer all E101 competitor Supporters the offer of a special Supporter transport ticket. The ticket is valid during the race for all regular scheduled transport times, and for special off-schedule times, which will be specially organised to run during the race. See Expected Passage Times for reference.

For Supporters, and where necessary for Competitors also, the Firstbahn, Gondelbahn Grindelwald-Männlichen, Luftseilbahn Wengen-Männlichen and Luftseilbahn Grindelwald-Pfingstegg will be operating outside of the regular schedule during the Eiger Ultra Trail.

Assistant Ticket prices: Adults: CHF 99.00 Children (aged 6-15yrs) with a Junior Card: Free (Junior Card is a valid Assistant Ticket) Children (aged 6-15yrs) without Junior Card: CHF 99.00

Supporter Tickets can be purchased on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the train stations Grindelwald, Terminal and gondolastation First. There are no further fare reductions possible with GA, Halbtax, Swiss Pass etc.

Note: The Junior Card (for children aged 6-15yrs) is available to purchase for CHF 30.00 at the Grindelwald train station on presentation of a valid, current ID. Please check ticket counter opening times. Regular transport tickets and the Supporter Ticket enable the holder to use all of the following transport networks, during and outside of the regular service hours, throughout the event. The Supporter Ticket is valid on the following route networks on Saturday (race day):

  • Grindelwald - Pfingstegg
  • Grindelwald - First
  • Grindelwald - Männlichen
  • Wengen - Männlichen
  • Grindelwald - Kleine Scheidegg
  • Grindelwald - Eigergletscher (Eiger Express)
  • Lauterbrunnen - Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg
  • Wilderswil - Schynige Platte
  • Berner Oberland-Bahnen (Train Grindelwald-Burglauenen-Wilderswil-Lauterbrunnen-Interlaken)
  • Extra service hours and normal timetable





    Extra service hours Firstbahn (cable car):


    Saturday, 04.30 to 08.00 from Grindelwald - First.
    Travelling during extra service hours possible with the Supporter Ticket or normal ticket bought at the desk early in the morning.

    Regular operating hours of Firstbahn from 08:00, normal tickets for regular timetable hours available at the Firstbahn ticket desks.




    Extra service hours Männlichen (cable car):


    Saturday, 17.00 to 21.00, last ride down to Grindelwald 21.30.
    Travelling during extra service hours possible with the Supporter Ticket or ticket bought at the desk.

    Extra service hours Luftseilbahn Wengen-Männlichen (cable car):


    Saturday, 18:00 departing from Wengen every 30mins until 21:00, last cable car down approx. 21:30.
