Top-5 for visitors

With competition distances of 250, 101, 51, 35 and 16 kilometres and a field of participants from 70 nations, the Eiger Ultra Trail promises a very special atmosphere. Whether as a participant, carer or spectator - countless emotions and experiences are guaranteed. The start of the long distance E250 marks the beginning of five days full of trail attractions, accompanied by a comprehensive entertainment program. For supporters of the long-distance races, the supporter's ticket is the right choice. The situation plans for First, Schynige Platte and Burglauenen are available on course maps page. The passage times provide information about the estimated arrival times. The finishes of the winner on Saturday should not be missed - the ambience feels like a public festival.

Highly recommended and not to be missed is a visit to the refreshment area in Burglauenen. Shortly after 07:30 in the morning, the starting gun for the E35 race is sounded here, and a little later for E51 competitors, Burglauenen marks the beginning of the last leg to the finish line. Mentally perhaps, E101 athletes will have reached their halfway point here, but will be only too aware of what awaits them on the path out of Burglauenen towards Wengen and the demanding ascent to Männlichen ahead. An incentive or simply awelcome distraction can play an integral role here in the overall success of the individual’s race. With this in mind, folklore performances, an announcer and further festivities are provided to lighten the atmosphere. Burglauenen is best reached by the BOB train as parking is not available.
