« Eiger Ultra Trail - harder than the North Face solo » Ueli Steck, *1976 – 2017
The legendary Eiger stands at 3970m above Grindelwald and has been enthralling visitors to the valley for decades. Known as the ‘last problem of the Alps’. The Eiger North Face was finally conquered in 1938 in a battle waged over 4 days. Today, world-class climbers tackle the Eiger North Face solo in less than two and a half hours.
