Registration Lottery Eiger Ultra Trail E101, E51, E35
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Pre-registration requirements
Participants must reach the age of 18 within the calendar year of the event. For E101 registration, a valid UTMB Index in any race category (20K, 50K, 100K or 100M) is required.
Athletes can sign up individually or as part of a mini-group to ensure that their or friends also receive a starting place. Members of a mini-group do not have to register for the same race, each group member participates as an individual runner in their chosen distance. Each athlete may register only once. Duplicate registration will be automatically removed.
Pre-registration opening
Monday, 21 September 2026 at 2:00 PM (CEST) until Monday, 28 September 2026 at 11:59 PM (CEST). No pre-registrations will be accepted after this deadline.
Lottery date and registration confirmation
Lottery results will be available from Wednesday, 30 September 2026 in your MyUTMB Account. Selected runners will have until Monday, 5 October 2026 to confirm their registration by paying the entry fee. Following results will be communicated:
- Positive draw: Please register by 5 October at the latest. Otherwise, your spot will be forfeited.
- Waiting list: All runners with “Waiting List” status will automatically take part in the second lottery on 6 October.
- Negative draw: If you have not been selected in the lottery twice in a row, you will receive a guaranteed spot for the 2028 edition, without having to enter the lottery again.
Second lottery
If some of the selected runners do not confirm their registration by Monday, 5 October 11:59 PM (CEST), a second lottery will be held on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. All runners with "Waiting list" status will automatically take part in the second lottery. Results will be available the same day in your MyUTMB Account.
Second lottery confirmation deadline
Selected runners will have until Monday, 12 October 2026 11:59 PM (CEST) to confirm their registration by paying the entry fee.
